Just bring to service center, they will take over from there. Not sure the policy here whether it is to replace mainboard or swap a new phone
My friend had her motherboard changed at the service centre, so I don't think the "change new phone" policy applies here.

Your friend is lucky to have her Mi 11 motherboard changed considering that Xiaomi offers one of the worst customer service ever. Had an extremely awful experience over there before. I hope they improve on their customer and after sales service...

That's Singapore dealer. If u go China, their customer service center is top notch! Got free drinks, spare phone to use, cheap repair cost and chio atb to serve u.

Ya that's what I heard too. All the China brand phones have superb customer service back home. But over here. It leaves a little to be desired. Xiaomi dealer customer service is so bad, I personally rather get an export set. Hahahahahaha...

The chio atb attracts me more than the free drinks and spare phone :s13:
Before covid-19 I travel often to Xiamen for work. I got my mi-9 camera broken glass fix at 100rmb at their service center. Is real experience not anyhow blow cow.

I am holding one export set (Mi 11), quite scary to use.. Dunno when the wifi might stop working.

Another friend of mine's export set having this problem, pending to contact his seller for warranty claim. (he bought from shopee and there is 1 year shop warranty)

Hi, How long does the repair take?
Around 5 days for the motherboard change. After she got back her phone, the fingerprint scanner got problem. o_O
In the end need to send in again. But this time xiaomi more steady. They provide free delivery after repair. (took another 4-5 days again this time)
