So must wait for the Mi 11 Pro or Ultra global models to be able to use GMS?

Thinking of changing my mi10 ultra to mi11 ultra..

China rom phones with preinstalled gms are not affected. Only china rom phones that do not have preinstalled gms will not longer allow using gms installer app to install gms.

Xiaomi and other china brands for many years whitelisted gms files as a loophole. Gms installer apps use that loophole to install gms without rooting. Installing google play without a licence is illegal and the whitelist make phone vulnerable to malwares. Xiaomi fixed that loophole with ota update after google complained.

Answer to your question is whether the phone comes with preinstalled gms.

When theres a distributor in Sg, TB will not import for u? Happen to my old mimax, they refunded me after i paid.

GMS was not preinstalled, i installed it but "hello google" not visible anyway i dont use that function.
