I just realized i also got that that light "bleeding" at the bottom like all the pictures, mine isn't that obvious though, not sure if I wanna make the effort to go down.

Those who went, is the 1-to-1 new sets or refurbed sets?

LOL, I just saw my redmi 1s also have this bleeding issue, and the best part is I only notice it after this phone have been with me for almost a year!

the light leak issue I think its just the cover not pushed in properly during assembly. mine also had that, I just gave the back cover a push and the gap was closed. if using the balanced mode, it feels slight lagging, if use performance mode, the phone is quite snappy. as for overheating, it feels normal like other phones, not heated like until will unholdable.

The phone is hot at times of usage, I was using this phone for a while surfing forums on 3G indoors. Touch screen gets heated up and uncomfortable to the ear when I had to pick up a call. U can also feel the back cover area heated up. End up, I had to stop using the phone for a while. Used balanced mode for battery only...

I put performance mode for my mipad yet it still lags! lolz cant imagine power mode. thanks for the feedback

I feel that it lags quite a lot.. I use the power save mode though, so that may be the reason.

Thanks.. maybe go down tmr and explore the queue...

For me no overheating issued so far. Used the phone a lot. On balanced mode most of the time.

i'm on balanced mode all the time. Do see some slight stutter, dropped frames in the UI. Same for playing games like Real racing 3 too. But nothing serious. Maybe because I'm not a heavy apps user, so less things hogging up resources in the background.

The phone warms up from time to time with use too. like playing games, using camera, etc. But again. nothing really major or unusual for a smartphone these days. Just feel a little bit warm. The warmest I've seen it go is just when I was charging it with the 2A charger, and even then, it feels okay to me.

Okay, guess I can't turn off the float notification but want it to appear on lock screen, like how I can with Lollipop.

The call floating notification didn't seem to work though I turned it on. Furious!

Regarding LINE messages, I had the same problem. I allow it to autostart and that seems to resolve the issue.

Starting to miss the simplicity of stock Lollipop :(

How do you set it to autostart? I viewed the running programs list but I don't see line there for some reason

In the last 6 hours my phone crashed and restarted itself twice when I wasn't even doing anything on it... One time it was flashing blue screen of death like old Windows days...

Lol this is worse than those trashy XDA roms...

I haven't encountered any show stopping bugs (yet), apps force closing, or force restarts. Performance has been decent for me too, though from the SD615, i did expect better and smoother performance. Still can see stutter in the UI sometimes. Maybe it's just lollipop. But overall, for the first Xiaomi device that ships with MIUI Lollipop, i think it's not bad.

Also battery life was pretty decent for me too lasting ~19 hrs with 5+ hrs SOT. To me the build quality is decent too for the price, and reminds me of the Nexus 5 actually. Plus the display looks much nicer than the Nexus 5 to me. Overall a pretty nice device. :s13:

I did a first impressions blog post on the device for anyone who is interested.

Looks like Xiaomi catching quite a bit of flak for this "flagship" they unleashed. :D
