Beside the heat I think there's a bug with whatsapp... contact wasn't available... I have sync google contact over no contact seen on whatsapp.... U got this problem?

i dont have such problem. did you sync back with your hp number? What i did was to copy the backup from my previous phone into the mi4i and installed whatsapp and everything was restored back (including all the previous chat history).

For the Whatsapp contacts issue, go to 'Security' app → 'Permission' option → 'Manage app permission' selection → 'Contacts' selection. From there, allow Whatsapp to read your contacts.

Okay got it solved by uninstall and reinstalling back whatsapp. I think i didn't sync whatsapp properly. Thank you for enlightening.

Got mine yesterday. It overheats easily at performance mode and stutters at balanced mode frequently, so don't know what mode to use it in. 3rd party launchers like google now and nova has serious bugs with miui so its unusable at this point, stuck with default launcher.

The hardware is decent and looks good, screen is better than my old nexus 5.

So overall, $279 for this is okay I guess, while I wait for the next nexus phone.

Mine lor... hotter then mi3.... Played summoners war for like 15mins can feel the heat already. But should be okay since it cools down pretty quick. Got 1 yr warranty mah the most overheat then go xiaomi service center lor. So now just keep whacking it no need worry so much. Don be too nice on it else warranty over u suck thumb.

How do I remove pre-installed apps (e.g. Mail, Notes, Music)? Some of these I'll never used as the Google equivalents are a lot better. I cannot even disable them!

EDIT: And how do I arrange icons in alphabetical order?

With default miui launcher, you can't.

I'm still pretty used to default andriod having an "app" button like windows start button where all newly installed Application goes.

Desktop should be like quick launch instead of miui dumping everything in desktop.

Any means I could get back similar to regular android way of sorting apps and not everything dump to its main?
