lucky already stopped my update sometime back.

just collected myrepublic trial set mi4i still in 5.x.x, wonder want update or not, the miui looked a bit different

Mine is the beta version.
Hmmm I don't really find any improvement. Some of the annoying issues I faced with Miui6 still remain:
- does not display incoming caller's contact photo
- cellular connection occasionally drops off

Camera is working fine though.

I think at best, Miui 7 should just call Miui 6+

Bros my back cover of the mi4i have been badly damage and scratched any idea to soure for a back cover replacement?

Might not be justified, given the expected cost.
Suggest to use a nice phone case to hide the damage :)

ive seen the service centre guy open the case in front of my eyes.

he did it with a flat tip to pry the plastic away in 5 seconds.

there are NO CONNECTED PARTS. the back plate is literally a shell, something like nokia lumia phones.

so if u can find the back plate online then just buy and diy the repair
