Given how previous 2 iterations of Mi Max are indeed Redmi Note with bigger screen and bigger battery. Should be pretty good chance Mi Max 3 will have specs similar to Redmi Note 5.

Mi Max 3 if with SD660, shouldn't cost >$300 IMHO. Or max around $350.

We'll still need to see which varient will be out. But lowest specs in export should be around 300+, local mi should be Ard 400
