for those ok with the size of mi max no doubt the mi max is a much better phone then note 3... screen appear sharper, whiter... $250++ where to find? huawei? asus?? cannot beat this price lor..

first impressions
-phone not as big as i thought, i think can manage.
-screen is good but colours dont pop like my amoled note 4
-audio through earphone like very soft, how to fix?
-build quality is solid
-phone is light for its size, very impressive
-slippery-case is a must
-fingerprint sensor very responsive and fast

was eyeing zte axon 7 but still not out yet cannot wait.
overall happy with the purchase.for less than $300 its a steal.

if you want powerful processor, camera, water resistant properties than go ahead and pay $800-$1000 for flagship phones.

Finally unboxed mine too, lucky enough to get the international Indian set with the English wordings.

Yeah phone is huge, probably still gonna stick to my redmi note 3 as a daily driver and keep the mi max as a tablet for games and reading mags.
