If got problems with the unit, can I send back to China Xiaomi myself? Do they need proof of purchase?
I've read in other posts that SG Xiaomi will not repair imported phones, even if we're willing to pay, if those models are not launched here. Still the case? Any one knows?
Regardless local store warranty, better to liase directly with China service centre, and send registered $10-12 to them, get them to return ship to 65dg or 4px, + $5 to get back to you, in all under $17, within 3 weeks.Rather than to open yourself to confusion and exploit returning to the store for RMA, as touchme bro mentioned above..
I heard xm service centres in China are very pro, fast and kind. My bro was there, thinking his screen cracked. Xm staff enlightened him was only his tgp cracked, and replaced a free one for him on the spot.
