This question is to those who have used both the Redmi Note 3 and Mi Max:

In term of performance, smoothness as far as the MIUI is concerned....Are both the models on par?

I collected this phone from simder few days ago, have few questions not sure anyone encountered.

1) Can't seem to select Google now launcher, installed already but it's not there in the home default. Other launcher like Asus Zen ui is alright.

2) can't get helium to work, even though I installed Google & xiaomi adb driver in Windows. Try on Mac also can't work. I did not root the phone, so need to connect the phone to PC to enable helium.

3) the default miui launcher is showing 3rd party app icons with a black background, can this be solved?

4) which brand/type of suction cup holder you all use to stick this to windscreen? The ones I saw, the arms are short, so not possible to stick phone in portrait to windscreen as the phone too tall.

5) the tpu and screen protector (film not glass) I get from the seller together with the phone kinda sucks.. I guess outside no shops selling casing and tempered glass yet right.

for google now launcher u need to set google app to start automatically (and maybe reboot after that) before u can change the default launcher

I have used the phone since tuesday. Just a review on its battery. So far per charge can last for 2 days!

Also, because it is not very thick, it does not bulky in my pocket. I have ditched my tablet after using mi max. Seems to work for me.

If your jeans or shorts pocket can comfortably fit those 5.5 inch phones/phablets it can fit the xiaomi max well.

1 week into using this phone, no complains at all. Quite the perfect phone for me. Think can't go back to smaller than 6" screen size already

Hi, anyone noticed if their mi max is kind of a little blur in YouTube 1080p video, compared to other phones playing at 1080p also?

Also wondering what snapdragon 652 would do compared to the 650.
Will it help to increase sharpness in 1080p video?
Will it eat battery faster? ect..

Hi guys can anyone confirm for me the loudspeaker is blasting on both side or only the right side ? Cause when i put my finger on the left i can only feel very little bass where the right is way louder.
