If pressing both volume -&+ and still cannot go into EDL module.........u can try this. Pressing volume -&+ together( still press), now press power button. U will feel a vibration. Let go power button only( still holding volume -&+) plug in the USB. Now u can let go all button.

Ya, what i mean is all hold together..... normally pretty common sense for us guys to hold vol+ n vol- first then hold power all together.... he not a noob liaoz.... so no need so clear on it....

Edit: ok ps never see clearly. Thats one way too but normally it won't be needed. Good info for those who just gotten the phone the first time.

If your phone is on the latest miui8 beta rom, just use 3 fingers to slide on the screen in the downward action a screenshot will be taken.

I got the China 32gb set, flashed to miui8 beta. So far, not a single problem at all. Very good and reliable.

Mi Max 32GB inclusive! Mi Max 64GB/128GB is "Exclusive"!

Here is my battery usage for one charge. I am a light user and on 2 Sim. Basically surf net, sms/WhatsApp, emails and some calls. I don't play game.
