Correct!

As long as you flash it to a Global rom. You are good and worry free.. :)

It doesn't matter at all if the set is a China set. :)

To all xiaomi mi max user using QC2.0/3.0. I test charging my phone xiaomi mi max 32GB local set for 30 mins.

using a aukey PA T11 charger.

5V 2.4A off phone 0%-18% in 30 mins
QC 3.0 off phone 0%-25% in 30 mins

is this normal? QC only charge 7% faster nia?

From what I read here and lot of bro here help to understand XiaoMi phone, as long as you can get OTA update you are in global rom which is no different from local set only without official local warranty. The 8.0.2.0 is latest OTA till date:s12:

Tks for the sharing. However, i install latest 8.0.2.0 through downloading the file from en.miui and install using the update package, not through OTA. Is that ok?

Er, 7% more seen in context over 18%, doesn't that actually equate to 39% faster charge in the same 30mins?

A good enough improvement, if you ask me, for phone that does not have official qc3.0 support.

When i install 8.0.2.0 this way, it clear all data n install as a new firmware n not just update.

The touch screen sometime not responsive ... Do you all feel the same ??

Yes. Yesterday evening I went to SL sq tested one of the export set, touch screen not so responsive $2xx with in house warranty.Later went to another shop, the touch screen was very smooth. Selling $3xx, think is local set.
