actually I have tried flashing a few firmwares ,even to the 8. but you can't disable any app on 8,and the fingerprint sensor cannot be deactivated,I don't want it to be always on standby,and I don't need dual apps too, so I downgraded.
seriously, not a biggy on china ROM. no difference from using global ROM except those extra china apps. but not big deal lah. battery life the best.

You should just deal with Lazada CSO.
My MiMAx also from Simder, is quite similar. Only show In Process, and suddenly one day the ninja guy appeared at my door step. Next the tracking status change to Delivered. Totally skipped the shipped status.

After "making noise" at Simder and Lazada, my order status suddenly changed to "Shipped' at 813pm!

About the same time, I received a SMS indicating the shipment handled by NinjaVan!

Don't know who screwed up!

Simder still never called me back after I have made 2 phone calls and even though they have promised to call me back in both occasions !

Hmmm...Simder Trading...!!!

I give them the benefit of the doubt at the moment first!

what you mean cannot disable app? just use titanium backup to freeze? i can turn off fingerprint sensor.

Huh? Where?

Most places require you to bring your own bulky charger and cable.

Even those with USB ports also require you to bring your own troublesome cable. Worse, the charging current is so low and take so long, it's funny watching those people standing around there wasting time. Again, funny new phenomenon of our modern age being slave tied to our phones instead of us being the master of our phones, LOL. It's so simple to solve, just buy a phone with big battery like MiMax...me..shake head..

Then you also waste time hunting for these places. I like my Mi Max so I can relax and not worry about battery panics:- the modern 1st world stress for nothing LOL.

You guys must be blasting your ear real loud. I'm on 8.1.4.6. And listening The four horsemen with Xiaomi piston ear phone, it reach my listening limit at around 60% to 70% volume. Any higher will burst my ear drum.

for the Mi Max, it has 2 slots right?

one slot can be used for my SIM card (3G Internet-Only), and I can use the other one for my Prepaid SIM card (those $18 starhub kind)?

since i've 2 sim cards, one for internet only, the other for prepaid calls and SMS only.

I'm serious about the ninjavan man. If you always have someone at home to sign off parcels, when you receive the message that it has been delivered do confirm at home that it actually has been delivered and signed off - i have heard that they leave it around the house, and 'someone' signs off for it, etc.

$329 is very tempting now!

So the 3 main places are:
- Simder @ Q10
- Newstar @ Shopee
- Simder @ Lazada?

which of these do flash to the global rom if not already, would you know? Not v good at these things, so would ideally like to be able to use it out of the box.
