I'll take the S9+ TBH. After 1 year sell away confirm price difference more than $50 between Mix 2S and S9+

Can't speak for Samsung but I can say for Xiaomi, if you are able to get used to MIUI, you will enjoy the features. Software support for Mi flagship line not too bad, Mi MIX 2S Android Pie beta testing beginning soon. Battery life will vary from model to model but may require changing after the 18 month mark probably? My Mi 5 battery cmi after it just hit 18 months. Quite common for other models from what I read.

If you are dealing with local Xiaomi set, let's just say their service centre standard is indeed "you get what you paid for", leaves a lot to be desired to put it bluntly.

Still S9+. Personally prefer AMOLED over LCD and S9+ has a much better camera. S9+ has better battery life than Mi Mix 2s(according to GSMArena)

Really meh, I think only camera win, wireless charging and water proofing . Plus got SD card sexpansion
Mix2s wins in faster processor, better screen to body ratio ( smaller top bezels) and the price !!!!! Almost half the price.

Agreed. Each have its own merits. But I believe S9+ display will definitely be more superior. Cameras maybe better? (Subjective)

S9+ curved side screen design either poison or nectar for some users but personally I find it unique, although MIX2S flat bezel less design also very nice.

Actually exynos during note 2 era wasn't bad but snapdragons are the hype thereafter.

We'll still up to u. As MIX 3, will be out (not sure when), seems to have different design with lesser bezel

MIX 3 is rumored to be announced next month in China.

Design change will be a smaller chin bezel and in-display fingerprint sensor.
