Still worth it compared to Apple,Samsung. The quality of the phone is actually as good as them. I own a 64GB of Mi Note.

imo my budget for mi is max 500 sgd for a flagship...

rough comparison:
S6 - $950
Mi Note Pro - $750 (650 if direct convert)

unless the review/user rating is sky high, i won't fork this much for mi.

Looking at the specs and price ration .. actually if you manage to grab it from taobao at their retail 2999¥ its actually quite worth it .. of course + abit for shipping :D:D

I'm pretty sure some of you guys are waiting for the 12th to be release @ their flagship taobao store :s12:

Agreed. Always, you will also find some important feature is missing in Xiaomi.
1. Processor 810 is known to have heat issue. Many brand already experience it.
2. Think still do not have NFC.
Come free with Xiaomi
1. Miui and bugs.
2. Some model only support TD ot FDD 4G and not both (if you travel often, take note).

1. Xiaomi has worked with Qualcomm to produce the SD810 v2.1 variant that greatly reduces the overheating problem.
2. Yup, no NFC on Mi Note Pro.
3. MIUI does comes with some bugs, I agree but it does have some functional features.
4. Mi Note Pro supports both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE, on both dual SIM slots.

If the Global ROM you are worrying is the lack of Google Services, it's pretty easy to get it installed on it.

So can you confirm this phone does use the SD810 v2.1 version?
For the Miui portion, I would not do it if the phone is not covered under warranty.

they didn't underclock , infact its even faster than the stock 810 in the market right now . But everything is on paper .. so the true performance / overheating still yet to be seen in day by day usage

Seem the comment only mention it "may" fix the over heat issue. All Android device do under clock to save battery and at time heat issue. It a matter of how well this tunning is been done.
