I got a MiPad4 plus.
China ROM works fine. Just set the language to English during first bootup.

Don't need to unlock or root. Just download and run Google Installer which will install several google services including Playstore. The rest of the stuff just download from Playstore.

I have no plans to attempt to flash to global ROM for my tablet. So far, it's stable with very good standby and battery life. I use sparsely and can go for 2 weeks before needing a charge.

Hey bro, it doesn't support PSTN calls right? The LTE support is just for data right?

Does it block all the social media apps like Facebook and Twitter from loading since this is after all china version with china ROM? Got built in great firewall or not?

Dun think the device will block social media..the most have to self install playstore

Surf net should depend on the network provider...if u in China then bo bian need to use vpn

The firewall of China is control via the telcos la... China set no Google services due to the fact that the Chinese govt dun allow Google to operate there or some licenses right etc...

U just need to install Google services manually yourself and everything is working like other Android tablet.

No site blockage at all.

Tried MapleStory M, no issue playing it. Did u give full access for all Google services? If u download Google Play Games?

Got a big bug on the Mi File Explorer on my Mi pad 4 plus.

When u select files and Hide, u go into your Hidden folder, u can Select the files, or Select All, but there's no Menu popping out that says Unhide, Delete etc. Any solutions?

Just installed EU ROM on mi pad 4 plus. Verified that the same rom works for mi pad 4 and 4 plus. Shiok man the gaming performance on vain glory is super smooth for a $400 tablet!

the problem is the third party one that i bought, when the cover is flipped open and on the back of the tablet, the screen can auto lock also -_-

i think the tablet is so thin that the magnet can penetrate the whole tablet to the sensor LOL.

Hello all, Just ordered Mi Pad 4 from Ziming Global Qoo10 yesterday. Hope to receive within this week. By the way, it is for my 6yo kid. Just wondering if there are any things I need to do or setup upon receiving the tablet? I understand the seller would have setup Playstore for the buyers.
