My Chinese not so good. Starts at RM1299 for standard version. Premium version is RMB1999 with sapphire glass right?

Sorry, the Weibo video kept breaking up. I only saw the RMB1999 part. As it was livestreamed it is not possible to view now. Have to wait for it to be uploaded to youtube then can confirm. I also missed the health and fitness features part

I am going China next week. Hopefully it is available then. Last month when I was there I missed the new Xiaomi Mi Surface 34inch monitor as it was not ready yet.

This is my last trip. Missed it and I have to buy online liao.

From the above link it says the biggest battery can last only 2 days ah? Sian leow

šŸ™„

Health features supported are

heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen VO2 max sensor, sleep monitoring, and body energy monitoring.

Hmmmm.......not my cup of tea then. I'll wait for the ASUS Vivowatch SP which has health features like

Heart Rate Monitoring
SpO2 Blood Oxygen Monitoring
Blood Pressure Monitoring
ECG

and can last 2 weeks of battery life

ye sure 2 weeks.
the 2 weeks is maximum, AKA running in power saving mode, AKA normal watch mode.

Normally, manufacturer's quote on 2 weeks of battery life means using the watch very conservatively sometimes even to the extent of simply using it just as a watch and turning off all other features. It also depends on how the battery power saving works in the watch.

You just take it as 1 week of medium usage will do.

Of course heavy usage like continuous GPS, LTE, checking ECG many times a day etc would drastically cut down the battery life to within hours or 1 day.

FI, the ASUS Vivowatch SP don't use a color AMOLED screen so saving power in this area

Gotten the phone last night and was unable to pair it with Wear OS.

The phone BT can detect the watch. Xiaomi's own 小ē±³č”Øęˆ“ APP also can detect the watch. But we are required to pair the watch with Wear OS first before setting up the rest of the steps on Xiaomi App. Xiaomi App redirect me to a location to download Wear OS but could not access it. Also Wear OS is already in my phone. Somehow Xiaomi app is not detecting that.

Frustrating teething problems.

Managed to finally setup the watch. First we can't use the Wear OS from Google App Store. We have to download the Chinese version from Xiaomi App Store.

http://app.mi.com/

Then the usual pair and install. I still have problem pairing 小ē±³č”Øęˆ“ app with the phone. But I think those are just additional xiaomi services and function. As least now my watch is paired with my wear os on my phone.

It's still really new and they probably did testing only for within China and not internationally.
