Yup thanks. I did your suggestion and still encountered the same issue.

I did a Mi boot to recovery and wipe all the data. Then managed to re-install the google installer... only then can it work.

Took me such a long time to resolve.

Only u or not recommend to upgrade via ota if got Google services installed?

No idea. I updated to miui ota a few days ago then the Google play store displays "server busy" despite clearing all cache.

There's either some permission issues or bugs somewhere.

Hi my mi pad 4 3/32 wifi version is unable to use the wireless@sg app. It shows "wireless@SG has stopped" on setup and crashes every time.

MIUI Global 9.6.8.0 stable (ODJMFID)

Mine is using plus and lte wifi. No issue for wireless@sgx using CL sim for authentication.

Doesn't matter from which seller as long as the price is good except for JTBC as they like to take their own sweet time and takes forever to answer queries. This is the price I paid for mine

I think once you update the China ROM OTA, it resets all the apps so that you need a new version of Google Play Store & other Google Apps to run...

The hardware is basically the same for the 4/4+ LTE so yes as WhatsApp works with my 4 LTE

U can do WhatsApp... But never try out the WhatsApp call. Shouldn't be a problem I assume.

No need. I am using beta firmware which updated every week. Google services work as usual.
