I finally gave in to my temptation to purchase this mipad after calculating the costs. TBH, I doubt it will be priced at 300SGD when it launches in Singapore that's why I decided to purchase it via Qoo10 - XIAOMI Mi Pad -DHL free shipping- 2014 New Coming MiPad 2GB + 16GB Nvi... : Computer / Lapto....

Gary, I've used your second seller's link to buy it! Hope it's trustworthy :s13:

To all: will verify the authenticity of the product when it arrived!

Do review your purchase experience with him.

For mine, westernhouse seller kinda unpleasant as the delivery courier not efficient.

Since second link seller ship via dhl should be faster. :)

When Xiaomi brings the MiPad to Singapore, will it come with Google Play out of the box?
Do Xiaomi phones sold in Sg come with Google Play preloaded out of the box? I might get both the MiPad and the upcoming Mi4 :s12:

Singapore set confirm preloaded with google play store. It just matter of time of releasing.

I can confirmed this, yesterday I connected to wifi after I setup everything and left it there to drain battery since it is on wifi and the percentage drop is lesser than 10% of the battery consumption usually other devices if you connect to wifi it will be more power hungry to consume more power from the battery but seems like MiPad is not:s13:

Its like a tablet in wifi config.
do stuff that do not requires internet access (on the move) like media consumption n some games.
when wifi a available, could access web and reading email, news, fb...

a lot of ppl buy LTE tablet to only for media consumption..(and with data plan getting less and charges more for 4G, pretty sure not streaming online.
