What power settings are you guys on most of the time? I find that High Performance really drains battery. Battery life is HORRIBLE on High Performance mode. Right now, I've just switched to Balance mode and battery life seems pretty alright, but not that great.

And the tablet gets really hot as well!

But still one of, if not the best Android tablet around. A shame that Android tablets don't have the type of apps/services ecosystem that iPads have. Thus, after a few weeks of owning this MiPad and close to a year of owning an iPad Air, plus my previously owned Android tablets and iPad 3, I can say that overall tablet experience is still better on iPad. But Android tablets have their own advantages as well, they can do some things that iPads can't. Which is why I have the MiPad! Quite excited to see the rumoured HTC Nexus 9, might be upgrading from the MiPad to that :s12:

got to agree bro, my on the go set up is same as you, mipad and m8 except for the Z30, i have a ipad mini retina for family usage instead of the air...

Looks like the hype for the MiPad has died down since this thread is practically dead lol. And to make things worse there's no news about launching it in Singapore yet. -_-''

Looking at nexus 9 price, i have no regret getting mi pad... both specs almost similar, except for 32 bit and 64 bit diff, which i believe i may not experience the diff. Mi pad itself is already one of the most powerful tablet i have ever used. Nexus 9 price i could easily buy 2 mi pad 64gb with it.

Agreed. I feel 8 inch is also the sweet spot for tablets. Could never get used to 9.7 inch iPads in my family.

Don't see how tablets require more processing power until a day comes where android is capable providing a PC/console/tablet 3 in 1 functionality
