Anyone using China set can check if HDR/Dolby Vision and whether can play Full HD in Netflix. Local no blue .. maybe have to get China set. Need to see whether can do L1 in Netflix playback if not no point.

According to this review for mipad 6 pro china set, there is widevine L1 certification but HDR10/DV is not working on netflix app even though the tablet supports it. You shoud probably expect the same for midpad 6 export sets since its a rom thing.

Typical xiaomi, iirc poco f1 got update for widevine l1 but netflix still stuck at SD quality.

wah. I even doubt Singapore set can be below sgd500 leh. Fans can go over the causeway to get sia. I remember some Xiaomi device threads ever mentioned before Malaysia Xiaomi devices' warranty is recognised by Singapore side. Anyone know if this is true?

Wah this is a big problem … I read through a bit, seems to be quite prominent on Xiaomi devices.
Same issue encountered on Mipad 5 running on china rom. Widevine L1 exists but HD not working netflix. What sucks is that xiaomi don't seem to view this as a problem and they never bothered to release a fix for it. Instead onus is on users to trial and error by installing modded netflix app in hopes to get HD working.

In Malaysia, release price for Mipad 5 and 6 base config 6/128 remained the same @ 1299 ringgit

In Singapore, iirc Mipad 5 base config 6/128 launch price was $399 so hopefully Mipad 6 will be same, or $10 increase to $409 if they want to markup abit.

There’s no 6/128 locally right? Only got 8/128 and 8/256
Seems like it. 8/128 local warranty set going for $449( probably cheaper with lazada coupons) while export set on shopee is around $390+ before coupon. I find around $50 extra for local warranty is quite acceptable.

Why youtrip so ex? See money changer rate can get around $435 for 1500 ringgit. Or you mean you include the keyboard too?

if include keyboard for $468 really worth it to buy in JB as SG with keyboard cost $628. $160 difference imo is a lot.

Means Singapore Singapore sets are sg$30 - 70 difference... Bigger storage more expensive here...
Kinda miffed as to why they decided not to bring in the 6/128 config when Malaysia has it for sale. My guess, like you said, larger storage higher profit margins.

Unless using the tablet for productivity or academia stuff, i feel its abit gong to spend another $250+ for the 3 official accessories especially when its 50% of what you already paid for the tablet. But thats just me being a cheapo and going for cheaper 3rd party stuff when possible.
