just letting you know that if u intend to get this phone best wait for their refresh verison den decide....but i have no idea is it an upgrade or what.....even though they did mentioned last year to have a 2022 verison.

Oh... got refreshed version for 2022? But still want to have a sense of using this type of phones... I only used flagships until now... buying for relative mah... just need it to be smooth and lag free can already... no need powerful type for games...

no longer sold by official xiaomi store, likely cos new models coming

FYI redmi note 11 series coming soon in Feb, local launch event on 10 Feb, u may wish to wait and see if the new models will be suitable for your father

xiaomi china competes directly with its own distributor in singapore, EIN

e.g. promotions are posted on xiaomi singapore facebook page, with links to the global store, 1 example below


if u compare the 2 stores, u may also notice sometimes the pricing is different for same product

also, local xiaomi physical stores do not sell poco models, only sold in "global store"

ein [the local distributor] also sell xiaomi products in other shops, e.g. taka, their own store [called urban republic]; they also supply xiaomi products to stores like popular, singtel, and regular handphone shops [e.g. redwhite, kasia, etc.]
