TENAA record display it still as Snapdragon 616, but battery become 3000mAh..
Likely because of the fingerprint reader that takes up space at the back of the phone ~

I also wondered will the size of the battery shrink due to the finger print sensor..No finger print sensor is just fine for me. Is the 4100 mah batt im after.

Just bought 1 yesterday on Lazada for $153 nett ($175 - $25 lazada birthday code + $3 shipping)

Noticed there were no accessories or chargers in purchase description. Still unsure if I should get annoyed that it may not be included, but I already have chargers from previous phone, so maybe it isn't so bad.

Wondering now where to get screen protectors and casing.

4000mAh battery, 2G+16G. All other specs same as Redmi 3. Rumors that Snapdragon 616 is replaced with an Leadcore chip.
The fancy design on the back is removed on the 3A too.

Redmi 3S
Same specs as Redmi 3(4000mAh, 2G+16G etc.) but with an added fingerprint reader on the back.

Redmi 3S Enhanced
Comes with a 3G+32G memory choice now and also fingerprint reader but now the battery capacity has been decreased to 3000mAh.
