Was excited when i saw this phone announced initially, but got disappointed after reading the dual sim support. Guess i can't upgrade over from my Redmi2 as i'm using dual sim now with seperate microsd card. Can't really give up either one. Probably have to start looking around for other dual sim models...

So far so good with my current Redmi 1s, has been using it for almost two years(coming July would be), so now on the lookout for new phones too.
Xiaomi phones are pretty good with its quality build at its price range and its MIUI is one selling points of Xiaomi phones too, featuring its feature-packed system, though sometimes there may be bugs around as it's sort of a 'always on-the-go system'. :)

The MIUI have English as a system language too, along with Chinese Simplified(default) and Chinese Traditional.
There might be some preloaded China apps such as 小米生活 etc. which may not be relevant to SG so it may be possible to uninstall it too, save some space too haha

You purchase from http://xiaomi.tmall.com sure safe, as it's from Xiaomi directly.

Global MIUI ROM is basically the same as China MIUI ROM, just that they preloaded Google Play Services and removed unnecessary China features and apps from it.
Alternatively, you can also flash to the Developer ROM that comes with weekly updates though it may be buggy at times too since it's not the Stable ROM. Not too sure whether SD650 RMN3 has Developer ROM support yet though.. :)
