Yes you are right. I don't see the music player when I pull down the notification bar in 7.3.3.0 either.

Also in Explorer app, the FTP server has changed. It is no longer at the bottom of the app, but in the "Categories" window near the bottom of the window.

Got a shock. Phone stuck at a point while the loading bar at 3/4 progress. Luckily it managed to boot up properly...

So the update succeeded, I guess?

It is updating from a 1GB file, so it will naturally take some time. About 20 minutes for me.

Updated to V7.5.1.0 (LHMMIDE), still monitoring if there's any battery drain and other issues...

I am not complaining but just suprised at the frequency of the updates. The previous update gives me very good battery life...

I am now using the claimed original battery bought from taobao for my Redmi Note 2 now, since Mi Singapore has been quite reluctant to reply my enquiry to buy a battery from them. The "original" battery is ok, but I noticed the battery life seems to dropping faster than the real original battery that came with the phone.

MIUI 7.5 integrates sone features from MIUI 8, a good update IMO.

I would say:

* 50% chance it is a fake. China is very good at making fakes.
* 25% chance that it is real, but second-hand. In which case, the battery draining issue is a typical symptom of an old battery.
* 25% chance that it is real and brand new. Then you need to charge it full overnight for several days so that the battery can calibrate itself and give you more accurate readings.
