Btw, don't buy the tempered glass from their Xiaomi Tmall, it's only 7H grade. Lot's of people complaining already.

This was a huge fiasco when Redmi Note 2 came out, they false advertised then got sued by their own consumer protection organisation/government(cannot remember). They even promised LG/Samsung screen at that point lol. But truth is, all the screen is domestic brands, Tianma and AUO. Since then, they remove all the details but tech sites is all ang mo one, dunno how to read chinese so can't keep up with latest news so never update, all still advertised quick charge etc.

Now, whenever they have new products they will put * at the final sentence of the advertisement to state their T&C that they can change the final screen or whatever component as they think is of same value as to what they have advertised.

Oh btw, you all buy from Lazada peeps one ah, better go MIUI forum and flash the official china roms then download the GAPPs. All the resellers like to flash bloatware/malware. Don't say i never warn ah, later credit card info/email tio used by other people then you know.

I had bought 4 x 1st gen redmi for myself and friends and till now our phone still work fine. I don't see any issues buying a no warranty set of redmi note 2 if the price is good.

No issue just. In fact SG and China always the same one just that sg version slapped with IDA sticker plus china charger taken out to comply with SPRING Safety Mark and SG rom installed as default.

Phone only support one LTE Band in SG, 2600Mhz.

yea saw in tmall, lots of complains about their tpglass cracking during normal usage. anyway i gotten my 9H from carousell (as i need it quick when i bgt & selfcollected my note2 from qoo1o), quality pretty good, its casing is those white Xiaomi original lookalike
