Hi, selling redmi note 3 gold here.

Only did a full charge once and went through the apps, didn't even insert any sim card for use yet.

No interest to earn that few dollars by jacking up the price. so yap, its going for $300. I just wanna sell it off as my mom prefers to use her old phone after i got it for her.

Why use Xiaomi as spare phone? To be efficient you shouldn't settle for this. If I were you , I will change to at a mi note

I couldn't find any reasons to stop using my s6 edge (although its about 2 years of usage already but it is still good)

Based on comparison of this two phones, note 3 didn't win me over. Thus its likely going to be my spare phone.

Just a bit sian because my mom doesn't want to use this phone even when its right in front of her. She still prefers her s4.

I'm experiencing call dropping when I'm using to make calls using sim 2.

Talk halfway and then suddenly cannot hear the other party voice. Then dc.

Is it because sim 2 is running on 2g?

Sigh.... This render the Dual SIM feature useless as many countries are phasing out 2G network in the near future.

Just wonder are there any Dual SIM phone already available in the market that support 4G+4G/3G mode? I read Mi5 does but it is not launched in SG yet.

In fact Xiaomi website physically mentioned 4G dual SIM dual standby. This is quite misleading.

I almost bought the phone from Challenger but after reading about the dual sim on 4G+2G, I changed my mind.

The website provides a more general info, whilst the FAQ at http://c.mi.com/sg provides some answers for some frequent questions posted.

Emm. So this should not be a concern for me if I go oversea, my Singapore sim will be for voice only and I will buy a local 4G card for usage am I right?

Another question, if another country follows Singapore to phase out 2G (Voice). So my Singapore sim still can work just for voice? Because I always off data roaming while I'm overseas.

Typically when a telco switches off a network, in this case the 2G network, it will mean all services provided through the network eg. data, voice will be decommissioned.

Hi,

Let's say you are in Thailand and SIM slot 1 is using local prepaid card for data/voice on 4G network, SIM slot 2 will be on 2G.

If you using you SG SIM card on SIM slot 2, you will still be able to receive/make voice call via 2G network while you are in Thailand as along as 2G network is still available in Thailand. If Thailand phased out 2G network, you won't be able to receive/make call on your SG SIM on SIM slot 2.

From what I read, a lot of countries are phasing out 2G Network in the next 12 months so I'd rather treat Redmi Note 3 as a single SIM phone.
