Just tried this phone and it couldn't detect my 64gb microsd. It prompted me to reformat it. Card is working perfectly on s7 edge. Turns out I googled it and its a miui limitation which requires fat32 file system. What the **** is this **** man.

Your microSD card should be in "exFAT" format. You'll need to reformat it to "FAT32".

But problem is that you cannot format 64GB microSD card to FAT32 under Windows. You'll have to download and install this :

EaseUS Partition Master 11.0

To format the microSD card to FAT32. If you got data on it, must copy all out to another folder first, reformat and then copy all the data back.

I do have a iPhone 6s but always in favour of android. Just couldn't believe how piss poor the miui is.

Actually, MIUI is really not bad. You need to use it for awhile and maybe you can appreciate it.

There are alot of features and MIUI updates is frequent. UI is smooth also. Perhaps you can use it more, test it more and see how is it.

So only a 800+ phone is able to read a 64gb microsd properly without the need to reformat? That's really informative.

thanks for quoting me. but i am referring to the camera.
dont give a **** about ur microsd card issue.

Finally someone who made sense here. I had the previous mi note which is a fantastic phone in its own right. Will take your advice and give it another shot.

When I plug in an earpiece/headphone (a few) there is an icon as shown in the below image. The thing is, there is no sound going to the earpiece. Sound goes to the speaker of the phone. Anyone has any solution. Thank you.

Auto, 16:9, high quality. I took pictures of my cats and their off-white fur looked dirty yellowish hahaha

If i have time tonight I'll post a comparison pic with an s4 and note 3. Aside from this minor issue (cats were not pleased that they look dirty), the phone works great and looks good too

Check the saturation setting in camera. By default, it is supposed to be at Normal value. May be that's the root cause.

Any higher value, makes picture look like yellow fever.

So...

Everyone has updated to 7.3.7.0?

I did. No issue so far.. :)
I today only got update (always late by 2 days). But some said battery drains faster at this version? So I hold on first. No battery issue for you?

Frankly, I don't really notice anything difference in battery life.

Probably I don't really bothered about it.

I'm a happy user of redmi note 3.. But the pictures I take always very blur due to my shaky hands.. Cannot find auto focus function...

Sent from Ilovennp using GAGT
How about trying some 3rd party camera apps? I've tried FV-5 and Open Camera. I took shots at the same places especially indoor/under low light conditions and compare all 3 (including the built-in app). For the mean time I settle at FV-5 for photos and built-in app for video. At a few instances, the built-in camera app failed to focus but the other camera apps did focus correctly. But one thing to note is, the built-in app always focus and take shots faster (however the photo may come out blur).

Anyone can advice? I've tried a few keep screen apps but none can keep the screen on for specific apps.

Based on default i dun think there is. Maybe you need to find a 3rd party app for this? Not sure if there is such an app to do that.

How did you manage this for non miui android phones?
