The screenshot was fresh out of the box. But yeah, prob a china set. Saved about $70 getting from lazada + free tempered glass protector though.

Plastic seal was on, but I think most shops have their own plastic sealing machine nowadays haha

Just freeze the app, need root though. If you are on developer than can simply soft root

How do you feel about MIUI8 so far?

Isn't it smoother and speedier and the UI is more polished in term of animations and transition effects?

I know certain functions and selections are not working properly yet and missing being an early beta.

As for the new Lanting font, I like it personally.
