Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

Ya Sia, when Xiaomi SG feel like officially launch here, MAYBE we are talking about Redmi Note 4 already.
Btw India will be launching Redmi Note 2 Prime very soon, when we only get their base 16GB variants and Mi Note get price slash in China already, their main market is in China whereas other regions are just a market for them to clear old stocks and mark up their prices to cover themselves. LOL.

MIUI also not very well optimised in RAM management too and always use out-dated Android base version and slow in upgrading Android base and worst of all is MediaTek that will even slow down Android upgrade. Lucky I just buy for spare and fun.

I also don't understand why every China ROM look like iOS and no app drawer, their Android skin too thick and bloated, wish Xiaomi can release it with pure android experience for International markets, let China use their stupid ROM and interface. I doubt we will ever see it. Haha!

Lazada is kind of fast, yesterday 6.10pm just paid only and today 9am already out for delivery. Waiting for my Redmi Note 3 to arrive only. First thing when it arrive is upgrade to latest software, install Google services and Google Now Launcher! Hate MIUI and cannot live without Google!

Are your LED lights blinking or a constant red ?

Mine is blinking when i plug in the charger and it doesnt look like it is normal to me.

For spare, China ROM software and UI indeed sucks that the fact. Use already don't like sell away lor, very simple one.

Battery charging for this Note 3 is really an issue. This phone literally drinks the juice.

If you try charging from a normal 1A charger, it basically wont charge at all or at best hold the charge.

Using a 2A charger is quite slow.

Anyone have any idea how to hard reset the phone ?

check batt usage to identify drain or even better use a third party app to identify system apps that might cause the drain...

Note 3 has 4000mAH battery, so charging will be slower even with 2A charger.

bring out to work... battery life not very ideal...

your problem sounds like charger output too low for the phone. I have similar problems with another tiong tablet, only when i use at least 1.8A charger then it charges constantly. you can detect this sort of problem with a battery app like battery doctor

Anyway, my note3 went into a deep discharge. Took a long time for it to wake up.

From 0% at 11.30am till ard 2.30pm using a Ipad Charger (2A). Charge only 23%.

Really really slow.

For my other xiaomi phones.

When the phones are off and i plugged in the charger, there will usually have a constant LED light (Red) or if almost full (Green)

For my Mi4i, when i press the power button (lightly) there will be a battery showing in the middle of the screen indicating the charging and the %.

For the note 3, when it was off and i was charging, the red led was blinking and no other reaction when the power button was pressed.

Anway, after leaving it till ard 11.30-1pm, the machine finally woke up wit battery 9% charged.
