Does the Redmi Note 5 supports duo speaker ? It has BT 5. How do I enable it ?

I have a OCY T2C. If Redmi Note 5 support duo speaker, I can connect to this earpiece individually instead of to just the right piece, right ?

Thanks very very much.
are u sure it will support stereo when you do that?

it will send the same signal to both earpieces

I don't know. I learnt from the last computer show, some seller was telling me that we can connect direct to the left/right earpiece individually instead of having one earpiece as master, the other as slave. So I'm trying out without success. I can only connect to 1 earpiece at a time with a RN.

So 1. How to connect to 2 earpiece. 2. Can configure left/right ?

Thanks for any help.. Thanks very very much.

go youtube search for T2C reset instructions. somewhere in the middle they will lose sync, then u have to re-sync both earbuds to one another. do not do that. check your bluetooth and u will see QCY T2C_L and _R

as for your 2nd question, i don't think so. If you find out how, do tell me. I'm not even sure if they can be enabled simultaneously as both will be registered as sound devices. you generally can only choose 1 sound device to output audio in your devices.

Had the note 5 pro/ai previous, no issue with qcy. Left and right working together. Why bother about having master/slave or having both individually connected as long as there stereo?

Then what's the selling point for having both sides connect directly to the phone ?

it's not a selling point at all.

It's more likely the salesman was talking rubbish because he ran out of things to say.

The only upside I can think of is you can finally use only the left earpiece. I'm used to having solo bluetooth earpieces on my left, not right.

Again, if you register both sides separately, each side will be a separate sound device. I'm really not sure if android wlil allow you to output to 2 sound devices simultaneously. Even if it does allow that, i'm not sure if you can set the specific L/R channels for each side.

Why draw snake add leg? just use it normally la.

Doesn't matter since you can run 2 separate audio in Android anyway. But I have no issue using either left or right earpiece as standalone.

Anyone still using Redmi Note 5 and is facing serious image retention issue? Goes away eventually but comes back very quickly, display isn't used at max brightness or turned on continuously for long periods. Thinking of getting the LCD replaced but am afraid it could happen to the new panel as well.

It's a family member's phone, thought other than the display issue, the phone is still in pretty good condition, replacing just the LCD will probably still be cheaper than getting a new phone. Will keep a lookout, thanks!

Thanks! A search on Google reveals it is a very common problem with Note 5 with Tianma LCD panels. Had the same issue with other Xiaomi phones (Redmi Note 3 and Mi Max 2) in the past but not as severe as this one here.

There is a solution to this problem as I later found out. It's software solution so you have to have an unlocked bootloader. It turns out that Xiaomi did a poor job on the display/display drivers. Nonetheless, the SoC, RAM, GPU etc are still value for money. Any Ported ROM outside Xiaomi or Custom ROM built outside of Xiaomi kernel sources doesn't have this issue. And you'll really wonder, why Xiaomi didn't notice or fix it. I tested Mokee ROM, Asus zenfone max ROM (port) and Oxygen OS ROM (port) they never showed any signs of screen burn issues. I'll make a full video on that soon.
