have you try both 4g on? as mentioned in their China site that Redmi note5 can support both 4g at same time. old series is only 4g/3g

I am a dual SIM user and I'm getting 4G/3G. Doesn't really matter though since I only use data from SIM 1

i tried flashing, but after flashing, it shows redmi note 5 pro in the about screen and camera still force close
