Any info when will it be release in Singapore? Deciding between Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Pro. And would the price of Redmi Note 3 price drop soon?

Been looking to buy last few weeks. The Redmi note 3 is out of stock in the mi SG website. Lots of stuff are out of stock.

There's stories that Xiaomi is clearing all its inventories in their local warehouse, so sold out items now will not be restock anymore.
Maybe they are closing their local warehouse in the future..

Well if you look carefully, the PPT mentioned "红米Pro 就是红米旗舰", which means it's the flagship for the Redmi brand, not the main Mi brand.

Mi (mi(5), mi note, mi max)
Mi tablet

A flagship phone without NFC is just dumb

As long as it has high capacity battery with high-end camera, I'm okay with the higher price!

As you know, no point getting another mid-range phone as I'm using Redmi Note 3 now!

This could be the most disappointing Redmi thus far. It losses the edge of being value for money and yet it doesn't the fulfill the definition of flagship. As mentioned by others before, the oled screen is china-branded, camera is more of gimmick instead of improving camera performance, no nfc, no fast charge.. Redmi Pro only advantage is its metal design but I would rather take Redmi Note 3 as it is cheaper and fast enough.

Btw if you guys think that the AMOLED display is from Sasmung, sorry it's not! It's from China own new setup AMOLED company which offer lower price on display panel than Samsung. Those wanted to use cashless payment like Android Pay sorry, no NFC is inside the phone. Anything from Mediatak good luck to Android upgrade process as they don't release source code, they SoC is not well received by XDA developers.

JUST WHY, all Chinese OEMs make their UI so similar to iOS design? Seriously! All want to be iPhone wannabe at a cheaper price?
