Xiaomi XRING 01

In a post on Weibo, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun confirmed that XRING 01 will power both the Xiaomi 15S Pro and Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. Jun adds that XRING 01 has entered mass production and will be built on a 3nm process.

Both of these devices will be announced on May 22.

It took MTK many years to get it right. I still remember owning my first Redmi MTK phone back then several simple apps couldnt even launch or just crash instantly. Xiaomi probably have to pour in huge money in R&D and will take sometime to become mainstream if they don't give up halfway. Pretty big gamble I would say.
