IMO, they should get alternative supplier of display for 5 series.
Might not be for the SG modelAnyone know if Xperia 5 iv supports esim? I googled n it said is supported. However, under my phone settings, I cannot find the add esim option... My wife Sammy phone has it.

I left a message in the 5 iii thread that Sony Singapore replaces screens with green line issues free of charge, if your handset is not an export version. No charges even though both the warranties expired.shag, my 5 iv got 1 green line now. found a shop that replaces lcd for $318 thou, old model, dont know to repair or get a new hp

I've had both my 5 ii and 5 iii screens replaced free of charge, and never encountered the green line issue again.
Buy a new one then. Likely not covered by warranty.its a green 5iv not sold by local Sony, so its imported.
