I think it just look like Xperia 1V without a third lens. As for "copying " zenfone, I think they already had that design for some time before it was leaked.

They used mediatek chips for some of their lower end phones like the Xperia Ace 2 for japan

No offense. I don't mean copying, I just remembered zenfone 10 as the recent new phone with 2 camera lens.

But if it's true, it is going to hurt the feelings of fans and trolls (fake) as a means of downgrade.

Then again, the 5 series has always been some sort of downgrade from 1 series, mainly in terms of screen resolution and certain features. Price will be a deciding factor for the popularity of such decision.

I guess they are not interested to look outside qualcomm yet.

Their volume is too low to use multiple suppliers for chipsets. Also different chupsets require design pcb designs and software optimisation. Unless their volume is huge, else not worth the R&d costs
