Hi,

Just checked Singtel - white xperia SP is out of stock. So it seems the demand for Xperia SP is quite good. Could the owners share your experience of the phone?

e.g. Is the camera really as bad as some reviews made it out to be? What about the battery life? Does the 1GB RAM slow down the phone significantly, once the usual apps are installed?

Yup the best LTE phone out there. Camera photo seem to be normal to avg only maybe due to the jellybean OS. Identical to Note 2 image quality quite a little of noise. The battery life is quite impressive if the stamina mode is ON really last longer. Due to the display 720p with 2370mah battery is quite lasting. Perhaps LTE might eat up slightly more for all phones. 1GB ram is good enough for all the small app and multitasking. Plus the LED light doesn't eat up any much of the battery and the screen responsiveness is on par with iphone. For sure if you are looking for a mid-range phone this will fit the bills.

Any idea which shop already selling this phone without contract?

Thanks to all the bros here for the info. It does looks like a value mid-range.

Anyone knows where to get the xperia SP cover? Asked a few shops but none seem to carry it at the moment. Seems to be not very popular? Under-rated perhaps?

A.DelPiero10 - can't seem to find any info but saw that xperia Z can take 64GB. Maybe someone could do a test and post here.

Yes. I have tested the Xperia SP with my SanDisk 64GB Class 10 microSD card and no issue with it.

Yes. Once you bought it, put the card into the phone and it will detect it then just proceed to format it, you are ready to use it after that.

A lot of high res samples here: Sony Xperia SP ?????????? (?1?) - SONY ??? - ePrice???

Tested the SP camera at bugis: a lot of chroma noise was visible compared to the ZL beside it. Good thing is both did well in exposing the scene.

Glove mode? Got floating touch? I hate wearing glove in Europe and need to use phone. Floating touch is great....

No float touch. Glove mode can detect ur glove eh.. shouldnt be too difficult to use the phone.
