My friend kena another fatal freeze screen issue while playing games on his SP today, can't even reset or power off. Guess that's the problem of a non removable battery.

I bought online from qoo10, local seller, mailed to me in 2 days. Price was 3 bucks including shipping, but no brand china protector, and have to apply yourself.

Yeah I own a set which I used as my spare phone since I already using note 2.

About freezing well..so far it did hang once when I was using whatsapp and I had to wait till the phone's batt was totally drained before I could restart the phone.

And yes the wifi connect range wasn't as good as my note 2 & iphones since I always use em all on the fly.

But damm I luv SP cos the design is solid and classic sony.

You do not have to wait till the battery drain and do areset of the phone, there is a reset button on the lower back of the phone which is behind the back casing.

Someone told me about this but I think either it doesn't work when the phone hang or I can't really spot it, is it the yellowish button above the transparent strip?

Yes. That is the button, did you press and hold for a few seconds?

I think I used a blunt pin to held it down approx few secs but no go so just waited till the batt drained flat, anyway that was before the FW upgrade so perhaps I won't be getting that issue again.

Bought Xperia SP today, paid 48 bucks after offset $50 voucher! Quite good for a mid-range LTE smartphone which suit my needs!

I dun think there is option to enable the text for the home launcher icons above the three buttons menu keys.

Bought the white one from Adix on 2nd May.

Apart from the screen, the battery life, responsiveness and sound is much better than my previous Xperia.

At first it wasn't really responsive, but after updating to latest version 257 it was much better.

Overall loving this beautiful phone.
