Hi all,

I just jump ship from HTC to Sony. The android UI is a little different obviously. One thing I couldn't seem to figure out is:

- when we put songs into the phone thru usb, the songs does not auto appear in the list of ringtones. I've put the songs in the "ringtones" folder as per what is taught on the net. It still doesn't appear.

- we can use a bypass method through the music player -> set as ringtone. Fair enough it works.

- now, how do I use such songs/custom ringtones for specific contacts? The list still doesn't show the songs. -_-'''

If you could help me with this, I would be very grateful.

Many thanks,
Adrian

download es file explorer from play store. whenever u want to choose a ringtone, it will ask u how u want to pick the ringtone, select es file explorer and u can choose any files from the storage.

Thanks all.. What about any photo frame widgets? Just like the ones in HTC..

You'll have to find your own photo frame widgets from Play Store.

Regarding the ringtone issue, are you sure you've placed the ringtones in the correct folder? I don't have an issue with assigning ringtones. I simply created a ringtones folder in the root of my SD card and placed the file in there. You can also create a ringtone folder in the root of your Internal Storage and placed the file in there.

The phone can detect your music files anywhere in the internal storage or msd card.

Just make sure the music files are supported by Walkman, meaning mp3/aac and not other files like wma which are not supported.

If the music files are located in msd card and not detected in Walkman app, you may need to format your card using your phone or change a new/good card.

are u using the stock launcher?
Yup, stock launcher.

Anyone using any lock screen tools? Alot of the lock screen tools seems to "on back" the screen after I press lock. And there was one where it seems to lock it and off the screen already but the back light is actually still on. not sure if anyone experiencing the same thing?

It's a Jelly Bean issue.

Hi TS, borrow your thread to ask a question yar.

I've turn on dial pad touch tone, but the volume is very soft.
Possible to adjust it louder?
