So maybe I will wait 6 mths later for Z1 price to drop.. if by then the 2014 model is not that impressive, I may get Z1....

Boh pian, jus recontracted for Z in March this year, so hav to wait til price drop before hooting the Z1 on no-contract.

Everytime you wait for price to drop, new phones will be released. Then you will find the phone lifespan is short with regards to firmware updates. New apps will be released and sometimes only newest devices get supported.

The most you can wait is 2 - 3 months, since every half a year a new device is announced or released.
