mix-mode for best performance.
m2 NVME for OS
normal SSD for files frequently accessed
normal HDD for storage of files that you wun use anyway
Won't use then no point storing also.

Mix mode only is to optimize price/performance.best performance is always=use the most expensive available solution!mix-mode for best performance.

I prefer more storage space than faster speed. I can wait 5-10 secs more for transferring files. But i cannot live with little storage space.
But if you look at read its even slower than many nvme SSD. Write is just 280MB/s, even slower than SATA SSD.

When it comes to big vendors' products, LTT these days are just another channel sellout like any other, no different from TastyPC. People who tell the audience as it is like Louis Rossmann are definitely relatable and a breath of fresh air.
