Narrow down my search to these 2, not really sure which to get, hopefully can get some help from all of you! Just tell me what you think

Compare the base model of both, for base on what I know, the blade stealth has a better price/spec ratio?

Performance wise anybody can comment?

Thanks!

Xps13 better quality.

Razer need docking to play games. Basic model alone has terrible battery life

XPS 13 is more well rounded. Great design with a decent screen. Great battery life(capable of going against the Macs) Just that it's quite expensive, I would consider it to be more expensive than Macbook Pro. Do note that 2015 MBP still performs as well or even better in some cases compared to i7-6500U and has more than 10 hours battery life.

Stealth is cheaper relatively speaking. QHD display with i7 and 8GB ram on base model compared to XPS 13 which only have i5,4GB ram and FHD display. However, the screen is smaller yet more battery draining due to high resolution display. It could be used with a Razer Core to play games but a 499USD Core would probably cost at around 700 SGD without a graphics card is just not a good option. That said, if battery life is not your concern, then Stealth is actually not bad.

Where do u get the impression stealth battery life is bad/terrible? Reviews? Do u use the laptop as a daily driver?

Sent from Sent from my OnePlus Two using GAGT

Almost all the reviews I have seen noted that it has worse battery life compared to similar ultrabooks.

Thanks for the replies!

As from what I concluded,

Both uses the INTEL hd 520 so no difference.

XPS 13 - better battery life, nicer display(infinity display)however if you get the i5 model, they only provide the matte display which doesn't look as good compared to the i7 one, gorilla glass. which looks really awesome btw. Other then that, maybe can consider in the service dell provides, perhaps the dell's more expensive because of the service it provides?

Blade stealth - lower battery life, specs are much better, QHD display, i7, awesome RGB keyboard, nice exterior design compared to xps(this is subjective)

I have decided to get the blade stealth. Battery life isn't really an issue to me, perhaps 3-4 hours of normal work should be more then enough time for me to find an outlet. Haha!

Gonna get 128GB QHD blade stealth, I have an extra 256GB SSD which I'll use as an external ssd if I need more space.

Let's hope my blade stealth has no issue, gonna buy through the website in the next few days, hopefully no issue, if anyone wanna stop me from buying please do! I wanna know the pros and cons!

If anyone has more questions regarding blade stealth or xps13 can ask me, I'll try to help!

Hmm that is actually pretty accurate, I average 6.5 hours on my RBS. More than enough for browsing, excel, and word for me. At $1499, you get an i7, 8gb ram and a 128 SSD. Similar specs for others in that list you're looking at $2000+, maybe except the Asus. I'd say its decent for the battery performance to price ratio, in fact, its cheap. Then again, the XPS is a killer laptop. I'd imagine the XPS 13 with similar specs as the RBS at 2k+ will beat it out flat. +Dell has excellent after-sales support.

guys, we found a razer fanboy here :s22:

Of course, then why buy a Razer? The whole point of buying a Razer Blade is because its nice, its black, and its aluminium, and it has a bloody green glowing logo. How awesome is that ****. I have 6-7 Razer products and an XPS 15. Razer has treated me nice, even RMA my Amazon Razer mice in Singapore. What more can I say? I am a fanboy and I can afford their premium :D

Good choice. 3-4 hours is not going to happen. I upgraded mine with the Samsung 950 Pro NVMe. With the savings over the Dell XPS 13 (~$300-500), you can buy a 256GB Samsung 950

There's a lot of charger issues, port not working for RBS. Then again, take these reviews with a pinch of salt. Those with problems tend to speak louder. Also, electronic stuff is heng suay one. I prefer to deal with Dell after service than razer simply because dell is a bigger company and probably have more resources like spare parts.

I think overall if want to compare, XPS 13 still has a better build quality compared to RBS. However if you're going for Price/Spec ratio,Awesome aesthetics(Subjective) RBS is the way to go!

If you are worried about Battery Life, After sales service, XPS 13 is the better path to take as dell provides better after sales service IMO.
