I got the XREAL Air 2 from Aliexpress last year at $236.32 inclusive of shipping and GST. My Interpupillary Distance is 62.5mm and I don't need corrective lenses so the experience has been decent so far. Unfortunately it seems like all the stock of the XREAL Air 2 is now sold out.

My main use case is playing games or watching videos at night when sleeping with my kid so I don't really use the built-in audio. I'm usually lying down and staring at the ceiling while holding my controller/device/mouse.

1. Nintendo Switch 2 (connected via the Viture Mobile Dock Pro) - Played through quite a bit of Donkey Kong Bananza this way. The Switch 2 is effectively in docked mode when connected this way so you will either need to detach the Joycons or use a Pro Controller.

2. Steam Deck - The Steam Deck has only 1 USB-C port so I had to find a USB-C adaptor with multiple ports (https://a.aliexpress.com/_c3MIXNjl) so I can charge, connect my Inzone Buds' dongle and output video simultaneously. Note that at least 1 of the USB-Cs will need to be full-featured meaning it can output video.

3. Samsung S25 Ultra - I usually put my phone in Dex mode with Youtube on the left side of the screen and Chrome on the other side or just Youtube in fullscreen. I control it using a bluetooth mouse. I use the same adaptor mentioned above for charging/video output simultaneously.

I felt that the quality of the video output was good enough for the 3 use cases above and the experience was pretty enjoyable. I have also tried using it as a monitor for my laptop but I found it a bit fatiguing when reading fine text, especially in the outer fringes of the image where the text isn't as sharp as in the center.

Looks like not many ppl noticing this.. i am also interested.. but can only go try out when there is PC / IT fair.. next one coming in Sept?
At the same time, tech is improving fast.. wait a while more, probably some improved features will be released.

Thanks for sharing that..
will see if i have time to visit NEX just to see this.

Curious, For NEX Beast demo, are you able to experience the anchored screen for productivity?
I manage to try Viture Luma Ultra in Challenger @ Bugis Junction Basement 1 flagship store. But the wire is fixed to their system.. basically cant experience the anchor mode.. and it can only play whatever they preset in the demo unit.
Screen clarity wise seems to meet my expectations.

And speaking of how fast the tech is improving, Viture just released the new Pro 2. But 0 DOF too.

Ya same in nex can only test the demo and the anchored seems work fine on the beast.

I just found the offer on Lazada with good voucher paying for $710.

mine arrived really great for movies experience trying on my phone only for now, though high refresh 120hz at 1200p can be quite power hungry
