Hi guys! Wondering if anyone has gone to Yangon before? My family is intending to make a trip there at year end

Yangon city itself can be done in 2 days, unless you want to combine day trips e.g golden rock

Are we able to self drive there?

Went there about 3 to 4 times as i know someone from there. I dont think visitors are allowed to self drive there. Probably is better to hire a driver that already included his vehicle to drive u around. That is what i did. Price should be around US$100 a day.

i see, so we will base ourselves in rangoon area and make day trips out. any drivers to recommend? we have 7 pax though.

do we have to carry USD as well?

btw, confirm we don’t need to apply for visa right?

and anywhere nice we can book to celebrate xmas?
