you cant compare that one in Xe.com cos the money changer will　up the the exchange rate 3 to 5 cent depend haha.

xe.com shows mid-market rates (it is stated on the site), the money changers will up the rates. that's their profit margin. money changers dont change money for free

where did you changed it? i changed 1.612 at mustafa today. your's seem way too high at abt 1.785

i dont have a choice lah, i changed it in tokyo.
yen running out fast.

Okay, now lesson learnt: Nvr change Yen in Japan. Lucky for me, tot of doing that...phew..

The Asian market is on recovery now we can see some improvement in Yen.

haha, maybe you can break up the changing into parts e.g. changing S$100 each week before going on your holiday. that way when the exchange is high you will buy less yen, when the exchange is low you will buy more yen. and u do it till u reach the amount of yen you need

um... still high. if you can wait then wait awhile after april will be better i think.

there may be a chance of yen coming down at end of the year. Export hurting bad for them, if they slip back to deflation, think they will cut more interest rate..

hmm.. but if everywhere is also cutting rates, then.. maybe not much diff.. the most impt is whether singapore will let their currency become weaker to help export too.
