I flying off on 28th Feb.. I changing around 8k to 10k (going for 12 days 11 nights, don't wanna sign CC cause exchange rate is damn high).. hope the rates go down man..

umm now everything is up already. yen already shoot up very high and their economy didnt recover since the 1990s if i remember correctly. So their didnt even bother to control their currency.

its a personal opinion, dont flame me for this, but i feel that contemporary korea, the way we understand it as an entity, ranging from chaebols and to credit cards, its modernity, has alot to do with Imperial Japan.

Korea was part of the sino-centric cultural sphere for a good part of over couple of thousand years. its only within this last 70-80 years with korean nationalism and nation-building that you begin to see a "Korean" identity.

If really have to go, just go then but just pray the exchange rate will drop but even its at 1.7. ppl will still go, just buy less thing, think twice n4 buy and etc. The most important thing is Enjoy
