agree! I went on the first week of Sept. that's when I changed 12.27 and came back with low 11. Left 72,000.. makes a lot of difference so I can't bear to change back and keep holding on.

heng..change in Dec 11.23...now still left over 86,000 yen. didnt spend much cos only change sgd$1600. wahahahah

when is a good time to change then? going in April...

That's a million dollar question hehe, if I can predict I'll be rich doing forex trading. Just kidding.

Just change a bit now lo. U planning to spend much? Nowadays most places in Japan accept credit cards eg last one week I only spent less than jpy 20k cash. All charge to card.

hate to let the banks charge me fees and their rates sucks.
i only used my card once last week as I was buying some gadget from bic camera and they got less 8% tax and additional 5% discount if using visa.

Understand but it's less stressful than changing now then realizing it was too high and u end up feeling sour. Forex is directionless, there's so many factors at play here. My view is just change when u need it. What u dun know will not hurt u:)

lol, never stress for me.
I just set a time line to change. once the period reach, I just change. I don't even bother changing some at 1 time and some another time...not gonna be a big diff for me.

Cool, then just bite the bullet anytime you're ready.

Btw prices of imports are going up in Japan due to weakening jpy.

Hermes just announced price adjustment yday. A bag that cost jpy825k is now 910k :o

The current exchange rate is still acceptable, if you compare to early 2014, where the exchange rate was ard SGD1.20 to JPY100.
