A day or 2 ago was 11.20 at Suntec.

Today 11.18

Hoping it'll go down to around 11.00 range.

Hihi, first time going to Japan, can anyone tell me how to see the yen rates at money changer and doing the calculations ? For example, changing sgd3k to yen.

i am also planning change 2.5-3k.

Money changer does 2 things. sell and buy currency. so if;

1) they sell 1000 Yen at $11.2sgd; your $3000sgd will be 3000/11.2 x 1000yen. Which means you want to see this rate as low as possible.

2) they buy 1000 yen at $11.0sgd; Your left over 5000yen will be 5000/1000 x $11sgd. Which means you want to see this rate as high as possible.

damn..11.27 now according to amc. will it drop? or will keep going up? Still havent change finish for sept trip :(

You can take the risk and wait later to change.... or you can exchange some now.

Omg this is such a stupid qns but what does it mean when its 11.27? Means 1SGD=11.27¥?

I went to the money changer at parkway parade and the guy told me 11.3 - i left equally confused.bc just 2 weeks back i thought i changed 798$ for 71k ¥ ....

11.27 sgd = 1000 yen

im also going on sep. want to change 2.5k.

2500/11.27 x 1000yen= 221828yen

if drop still 11.30 = 221239yen

lugi 589yen, $6.6. actually not much differences.
