Encountered epic heavy rain. Virtually cannot see. Luckily my sunglasses is polarized helped abit

Most cars jitao turn on hazard light. Slowed down to around 80knh.lasted for around 30mins. Some cars detour and took a 'break'.

I'm using Hankook tyres touch wood no aquaplaning etc.

Quite an adventure and good experience .

IMHO.
True for polarized sunglasses.
Aqua-planning also depends on the type of car.
Do note that effectively when raining, your tyres are under pressured.

Yeah before the trip I pump extra 5kpa also

Get an AWD setup, proven good under heavy raining used.
stability felt magnified once raining started.

3 AWD cars I owned, all always performing well under slippery heavy rain drive.

Yeah before the trip I pump extra 5kpa also

IMHO.
I usually see the weather pattern to determine the tyre pressure.
Increase 5kPa on a regular day will decease the tyre contact patch.

IMHO.
I guess the point to turn on the hazard light is to warn people of the hazard but unknowingly, one becomes the hazard. I cannot have poor visibility doesn't mean others will have poor visibility.
