Hi, have u done any testing with your DWA-192 and DIR-890L?
I would like to know what speed is your DWA-192 connecting at
Thanks

Hihi.. maybe you can try to disable the smart connect on DIR-890L and see can connect to the 5Ghz and get higher speed.

The smart connect on my Asus RT-AC3200 is disabled by default, I'm using my 2 5Ghz bands separately
My DIR-880L does not have smart connect

Asus RT-AC3200 also very power but I just personally prefer the D-Link red. I dunno about DIR-880L though but I know my DIR-890L has smart connect leh...

There was no matching adaptor for AC3200

Most wireless AC adaptor only works in either of the 2.4 GHz or 5G Hz wireless band but not both concurrently. Same goes for the latest AC1900 D-Link's DWA-192 AC adaptor.

When paired with DIR-890L, beamforming could be achieved to divert wireless connection to ensure range and performance to the wireless client even at hard to reach wireless spots

Did a quick speed test. May not reflect the true potential of the wireless speed but at least it's faster than my previous routers.
