Hi Guys,

I am currently on a 5 year on gaming pc. I am currently able to run lowest settings for CSGO and still face screen tear and low FPS.
I have to use the MSI Afterburner to control my core and memory clock if not my PC will disconnect from my screen.

Seeking your kind advice if i should buy a new PC or change my graphic card etc.

ACER PREDATOR G3610

Specifications:
Intel Core i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30 GHZ
8GB RAM
64 bit operating system.

Graphic Card: Nvidia GeForce GT 440

You are currently being held back by the GPU. However, the Acer G3620 is known to be problematic when it comes to GPU upgrades.

If yours is the Win 8 version, you can try disabling Secure Boot before installing the replacement GPU.

In all likelihood, your best option is to sell the existing rig and build a new one.

Lai liao lai liao, the FPS pewpewpew king talking lol.

TS you need to check a lot of things before you even upgrade.

Your PSU power rating, your chassis clearance, and lastly what OS you using, and if im not mistaken there is a white list that Acer actually allows your PC to use a certain GPU.

Honestly why not just get a new PC? Aim for about a 1K Budget? The sandy bridge processor isn't even a "K" so u can't squeeze every last bit of juice out of it.

U could aim for a h110+6500 bundle, bought mine from Carousell cause there was an offer at that time. Add a 240/250/256GB SSD for boot and load timings, and then just toss in a 1050ti! Case I've totally no idea what to recommend so got to leave it to the others here on the forum but the PSU u could opt for the HEXA 450/550. OS just buy from online vendors (Carousell/Reddit) I've seen posts selling it at only $20

i would suggest u just buy a new system with i5-6500 + gtx 1060 at least to have a decent PC gaming experience.

if ur on budget and just want the PC to play CSGO just change the GPU and u will see a huge difference in performance.

u could probably settle for a 1050ti.. but 1060 is the most bang for buck gpu now.
